A few months ago, i left a blank canvas at friend and artist Tom Scicluna's home with a vague request for him to execute a painting. Consistent with his methods and systematic ways of making art, this was his response. It was executed on the outside of the east wall to my Coral Gables studio. Argentine Bicentennial

Today is the Argentine Bicentennial, and The Failure of Knowing is pleased to be able to spend a day absorbing its sights and sounds. We arrived late last night to a crowded and celebratory boom-crash smoke filled Buenos Aires. Too tired from a long long day of work to partake in the festivities, I went for a short wander into the heart of the fireworks.
